I was around the age of seven or eight and was just starting to grab hold of the video game concept. I was instantly addicted! So as my family and I were walking through Wal-mart in my grandparents town of Annandale, I immediately ran to the electronics section and sure enough there were about three open system with my name all over them. So I played and played and played and soon enough I had beaten all of the demos that they had set out. What i didn't realize was that i had been standing there for about two full hours. I went frantically searching all around the store screaming for my parents and found them as we ran into each other in one of the intersections. They had been searching for me too. I feel a bit uneasy when I am alone today still.

I liked the new technologies I learned this semester. I usually don't partake in online discussions but the wiki, google.docs, and shelfari introduced me to something completely new. I enjoyed the wiki space more than anything because it was cool to see progress made by your team and you. I think these applications were very useful for me.

Daggers in Mens Smiles

I remember a time when there were daggers in men's smiles. I was watching Minnesota play Texas Tech in a bowl game not to long ago with some of my rivaled Wisconsin buddies. At halftime Minnesota had a comfortable lead up by 35 points, so i thought this game was more than over! I was wrong! I come back in the room about and hour or so later and all i see is their smirky little grins pericing right through and i couldn't believe the score when i saw it was a seven point game and we were losing. I was crushed!
